We are a fun group of mountain bikers out to have a good time. You will find that we have riders of all levels of fitness and ability. Mountain biking is a great way to exercise and is a lot easier on the joints than other activities like running and racquet sports.
We meet during the season on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5:30 PM at Great Brook Farm in Carlisle for a 1.5-2 hour ride (longer, if we’re up for it.), and Saturday mornings at 9:00 AM. All days, weather permitting. Saturday locations may differ.
Wow, with all these rides to choose from there is no reason not to try mountain biking! If you don’t have a bike, please let us know, we may be able to scrounge one up for you. As always, helmets are required to ride with our group and we obey the basic cycling rules of the road (or dirt as the case may be).
If you don’t ride but have friends or co-workers that do, please forward this information to them. Contact me by email at

Our first trip to Willowdale this year was fantastic! There were an amazing 17 riders present to help celebrate Chris' 40th birthday as well as being called up for active duty from the National Guard. Godspeed, Chris, our best wishes and prayers go with you. Due to the efforts of local riders like Paul Wallace, the trails are well-groomed, maintained and interconnected, providing a nice flow from one to the other. Smoother in general than the trails at Great Brook, Willowdale offers a lot of short, steep climbs and optional tricks like log rolls, ramps and natural features like climbable rocks. Thanks especially to Paul Wallace and Dick Morse who hosted the after-ride festivities. Mmmm, fresh steamers! Make sure to check out the photo spread on our See page.

Got an email from Neil Mager, one of our riders, who is excited about the upcoming ride season. Could be because he just got this sweet ride for his 50th birthday:

Keith Thomasset, our latest victim, uh, I mean member, can't wait to join us on our Easy Rider Thursdays. He says, "I have been a runner for some time and the knees have been getting progressively bothersome and I am hoping cycling will allow me to continue the aerobic activity (in the woods) with less wear and tear on the joints." Certainly less wear and tear on the joints, maybe more wear and tear everywhere else, lol... Welcome aboard. This is Keith's ride:
